The wife of Rep. Charles Boustany (La.), a Republican Senate candidate in Louisiana, is calling reports of him being linked to prostitutes “false attacks” meant to damage his campaign, according to The Associated Press.
The allegations are part of a book by journalist Ethan Brown that explores the murder of eight prostitutes in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana.
According to BuzzFeed, Brown cites three unidentified sources who say that Boustany was a client of some of the women.
The book does not allege that the Louisiana Republican was involved in the murder.

A reverend at an African-American church in Flint, Michigan, shut Republican presidential nominee
Donald Trump down during a visit to her church Wednesday afternoon after he began to attack Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, telling the Republican nominee he was not invited there to give a political speech.
Before speaking at the church, Trump took a tour of a now-shuttered water treatment plant in Flint that was responsible for the lead-poisoned water that's become a crisis in the city.
Clinton, for her part, has made the lead water crisis in Flint a cornerstone of her campaign.
She visited multiple times during the primary, earning the endorsement of the city's mayor.
Good move Deplorable Donald.Donald Trump slapped down by African-American pastor; later lies about it on Fox & Friends
Donald Trump is making a deliberate outreach to the black community.
It does not appear to be working.
In an appearance at at Bethel United Methodist Church, a black church in Flint, Michigan, Reverend Faith Green Timmons, the pastor of the mostly black church, stopped him cold as he was bashing Hillary Clinton.
Rev. Timmons told Trump he had not been invited “to give a political speech.”
Without apologizing, he went on with the speech in a different direction and told Pastor Timmons, “Oh, oh, OK. OK. That’s good.” He stopped cold and changed the subject.
Members of the congregation booed and repeatedly shouted at Trump, interrupting him shouting that his housing empire “discriminated against black tenants” in the past according to reports in the media pool.
This morning on Fox & Friends Trump went after the Flint pastor, saying that she was so nervous when she introduced him.""she was shaking." Trump said.
"And I said 'Wow this is sorta strange.' And then, she came up. So she had that in mind, there was no question about it," said Trump to Fox & Friends.
Trump told the Fox & Friends hosts that she was "so nervous" and acted like a "nervous mess." Then adding, " I figured something was up. Really."
Then Trump lied in claiming that the audience screamed, "Let him speak, let him speak."
That didn't happen. An NPR reporter in the room at the time reported so, and that in fact, the congregation booed Trump.
And that's when Timmons — who Trump said Thursday had planned to ambush him — stepped in to defend Trump, saying the Republican nominee was "a guest of my church, and you will respect him."

But alas...Mark Cuban is bashing Trump so you give him a pass on his racist comments.
You know what that makes you Misty? A racist!
What do you know about the candidates running for president? Not much other than the fake tweets and juvenile memes your masters tell you drones to talk about. You are clueless as trump spews policy that would make an idiot drone like you cream your panties. “Our current president came out of nowhere. Came out of nowhere,” Trump said in 2011 at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, according to a transcript by PolitiFact. “In fact, I’ll go a step further: The people that went to school with him, they never saw him, they don’t know who he is. It’s crazy.”
I suppose Hillary started this too. lol
How his supporters filter out crap like this is hard to understand.
