I believe "compensation for services" to be what her personally does; that seems to be what the Framers intended.

For example, if a president produced an agricultural product that was at some point bought by a foreign government, was he barred from serving as president? Was he obliged to sell his farm?

I doubt it.

In a letter to the Wall Street Journal, she acknowledges that she has “trouble distinguishing between reality and fantasy” and in a sworn deposition, she says she has a “borderline personality disorder. There are already lots of legal experts who have weighed in on this including Richard Painter, who was Chief Ethics Counsel for George W. Bush, and Norman Eisen, who was Chief Ethics Counsel for Barack Obama.

They have both been very vocal on the issue.

The Obamas reported about $400,000 in salary from his position as president and about $56,000 in income derived from Mr. Obama’s book sales.

Trump seems to support many members of the far right in Europe.
The first British politician Trump met with following his victory was Nigel Farage.
Trump also had Farage speak at one of his rallies.

And Flynn is also a friend of Putin.
He's been a contributor to RT, the Russian news outlet run by the Kremlin.
Flynn says that Putin is a 'smart and savvy’ guy.
He even sat at Putin's table at an RT dinner.
There he is right next to Pooty-Poot.
