Rick Scott said that he reached out to the president elect and the VP elect (but not the current POTUS) after the shooting in Fort Lauderdale and they let him know that they would help him with any assistance from the federal government.

Newsflash to Scott.....Trump and Pence can't offer you any assistance from the federal government for another two weeks.
