Fox News Revives Toxic Patriotism: "You're Either With Us Or Against Us"

Here we go again....Obedience and loyalty over country and constitution.

One month, two days. That's how long it took before Fox News officially brought back the good ol' days of militant patriotism. On Saturday, Fox News host Jeanine Pirro took to the air
to announce, "It's time to take sides.

The election is over - you're either with us or against us. That is, with the United States or against the United States."

Pirro was screeching about the renewed interest in just how deeply Russia interfered with the election.

The story of the century should never have left the front pages in the first place (and wouldn't have if it had benefited Hillary) but it did.

And now with the reporting on the CIA's confirmation that Russia was explicitly trying to put Trump in office, the right (and, inexplicably, the anti-Hillary left) has gone into a frenzy to make the issue go away.

Pirro says that everyone united behind the new president in 2008, which is a bald-faced lie.
She thinks that we need to show the 45th president the same class and dignity that people like her showed Obama.
Was she showing him dignity and class when she called for his impeachment?

The 'press conference' (not photo-op) was called to inform us that he was signing over control of his businesses to Uday and Qusay in order to avoid the appearance of conflicts of interest.

Trump treated this reporter JUST LIKE he treats anyone else he is mocking.
The fact that he used the same technique against this reporter shows he is LESS biased than you, who would have pulled that punch over the fear of political correctness.

So today Putin comes out to defend Trump and then this:

Why would Scaramucci be discussing doing business with a Russian state run company that is under sanctions?

Scaramucci is the sixth Goldman Sachs vet to be hired by the Trump administration.

I could swear that during the campaign Trump continually whined about HRC making paid speeches for GS and said that Ted Cruz was owned by GS because they had donated money to his Senate campaign.

The rules in Tennessee require all candidates for president, including write-ins, to register at least 50 days before the election in order to appear on the ballot.

Here's a little lesson in hypocrisy for both larry and Clem.

I went digging at the old forum today to see what you guys had to say about Obama's associations with Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers.
It's hard to find stuff over there, since a lot of content was lost when the site crashed.
But I found a few things.
Interestingly enough you guys were still talking about Wright and Ayers in 2013 and 2014.

Fast forward to the man who will be sworn in as POTUS tomorrow.

Trump pals around with people like convicted rapist Mike Tyson.
He said that Tyson's conviction for rape was a 'travesty.'

He had convicted murderer Don King speak at his rallies, and he just had him for a visit at Mar-a-Lago.
He rang in the new year with convicted felon Joey 'No Socks' Cinque.
Trump boasted about his friendship with convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Epstein hung out at Mar-a-Lago and Trump attended Epstein's parties, where there were under age girls in attendance.
One of those girls has filed a lawsuit claiming that Trump raped her when she was 13.

Neither Bill Ayers nor Jeremiah Wright have an convictions on their record, and their ties to Obama were quite a bit more tenuous than Trump's ties to the people I have mentioned.
Trump hanged with and still hangs with those people socially on a regular basis.

I have posted about Trump's associations with these people most recently about Don King and Joey 'No Socks' Cinque.

It is called a protest vote.

Larry voted his conscious. As you did in the primary. He utilized not only his right to vote, but his free speech as well. He could have wrote in Mickey Mouse.

There's tons of hypocrisy on this forum from people on both sides.
But people like larry love to point out the hypocrisy on the left (especially mine) while he ignores the hypocrisy on the right, including his buddy Clem's and his own.
