No, I said I didn't want to vote for her unless I had to.
I said if HRC had a good lead in the polls, I was probably going to write in the name of John Kasich, which is why I researched the write in rules for my state.
But since the polls were close on election day (and the fact that my husband begged me not to) I decided not to cast a protest vote.

This was the first time since 1988 that a Republican won my state, so I was pretty sure that she wouldn't need my vote anyway.
Turns out she needed mine and a whole lot more.

I have family members who didn't even vote, and I have castigated them for it.

But I fail to see the issue with a person choosing to write in a candidate particularly when neither candidate was appealing to the person.

PS. I was shocked she lost. Election night I got a work call at 3 AM and checked my phone expecting to see news that Trump was giving his concession speech. After reading the headline I said WTF and went back to sleep thinking I was dreaming.

I never wanted her to run, but she and the Dems decided that this was hers and they cleared the field for her.
Bernie was the one surprise they didn't count on.

When you walk up to a woman and 'just start kissing' her, that's not just 'vulgar.'
That's called sexual assault.

And let's not forget that Trump was married when that Access Hollywood video was shot.

Also don't forget how Trump bragged in the video about his attempts to seduce a married woman.
He bragged about how many married women he has slept with in one of his books.
And you keep trying to whitewash his actions by calling them 'crude and offensive.'

It seems that the man now chosen to head up HHS has been enriching himself by buying stocks and then introducing legislation that would financially benefit the companies he bought the stock in, thus driving up the price of the stock.

Why is Obama ignoring the case of Don Siegelman?
Just saw this on Twitter and I was shocked to learn that Siegelman was still sitting in jail.
I haven't heard that name in years, but I remember the case very well.





Siegelman is rotting in jail while Karl 'Hamhead' Rove roams free.

The Bush-Cheney-Rove Justice Department prosecuted 600 elected officials plus 2,500 collateral cases (children, elderly parents, children of defense lawyers, etc), and 85 percent of the officials were Democrats.

I will never forget the case of a Wisconsin state employee who was prosecuted and sent to federal prison in an effort to hurt the reelection chances of the Democratic Governor, Jim Doyle.
Miss Thompson lost her home and spent 4 months in prison.
The appeals court threw out her conviction within hours of hearing the case, which is very unusual.

During oral arguments one of the members the three-judge panel said the charges against Thompson were unfounded.

"I have to say it strikes me that your evidence is beyond thin," federal Appeals Judge Diane Wood told prosecutors.

"I'm not sure what your actual theory in this case is."

Legendary Journalist Wayne Barrett Dies

Wayne Barrett, a legendary New York journalist who worked for the Village Voice, and vociferously covered Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani, passed away in Manhattan at the age of 71 on Thursday.

His wife Fran said that the cause of his death was complications of lung cancer and interstitial lung disease.

Barrett, who is from Virginia, spent 37 years at the Voice and went on to write a book about Trump called “Trump: The Deals and the Downfall,” which was republished and expanded during the 2016 campaign.

He also wrote for The Daily Beast and provided advice and guidance to colleagues there.
