Why are you refusing to answer my question?Eastern Europe was threatened with the world's largest arsenal of missiles ever built when they "chose" capitalism - and were under the communist boot when they "chose" communism, you *** crack.
They've not been free ever and are not free now. Every move they make is made between russia on one side and western europe on the other, with the full knowledge that their countries are ground zero for the resolution of any disputes between those two power houses.
You've asked me three times to defend socialism, and I have declined three times, you dick sucking midget - you are starting to seem deliberately rude.
The usual troll lies and bulls***. I never defended any media ownership, and individual citizens own their Medical Savings Accounts, not the government. There is also considerable private care available, and I never advocated or defended government owned facilities.Cannonpointer » 20 Feb 2017 5:22 pm » wrote:Again, queer, you are the one who defends socialism.
You were crowing about the state owned medical care in one of your favorite slave pits only recently - and defending that paradise's government ownership of the mass media.

Why hasn't Eastern Europe gone back to your glorious Socialism?

Of course he was.AUSTRIAN COURT APPROVES EXTRADITION OF UKRAINIAN OLIGARCH DMITRY FIRTASH TO CHICAGO
A court in Austria approved Tuesday a U.S. request to extradite Ukrainian oligarch Dmitry Firtash to Chicago.
The Ukrainian industrial magnate also known as "Dmytro Firtash" was arrested in Austria in 2014 following his federal indictment in Chicago.
Firtash is one of the wealthiest men in the old Eastern block and chairman of Group DF.
In June 2013, Mr. Firtash and five others were charged in sealed indictments in Chicago with paying $18.5 million in bribes to Indian officials so they could mine titanium and then sell it to Boeing Corporation for use in building the 787 Dreamliner passenger jet, as reported by the I-Team.
Minutes after the hearing ended Tuesday in Vienna, the intrigue of this case continued when Firtash was arrested while waiting for an elevator in the courthouse.
He was detained by officers on an arrest warrant from Spain, according to a spokeswoman for Vienna prosecutors.
Firtash was named in Spanish arrest warrants last November along with two alleged accomplices - also citizens of Ukraine - whose names were not disclosed in the money laundering investigation.
[....]
Firtash has been a business associate of President Trump ally Paul Manafort.
What about all the black people dying in Chicago, though?#ShePersisted » 21 Feb 2017 2:25 pm » wrote:

Keep blaming this on sour grapes and ignoring the fact that 45 surrounded himself with people who have ties to Russia.
And the fact that we have no idea what financial ties he may have to Russia, because he refuses to show his tax returns.

People tend to stay with what they have and what they know, when no one is pointing guns at them. The Eastern European nation states were aligned with and dependent on the USSR, even while being plundered by the USSR. They are now aligned with and dependent on the EU and NATO.
Separating oneself politically is IN AND OF ITSELF a revolutionary act. In the case of their departure from the USSR, it was done FOR them by an economic implosion. The only ones who actually half-assed "fought" for their "freedom" were the poles - and ron reagan stood staunchly beside lech walesa, I have to give him that.
The fact that capitalism, in the case of eastern europe, came calling with a gun in its hand is by no means invalidated by the fact that they continue to remain with the EU and NATO. ANY SYSTEM, including communism, tribalism, nudism and snake charmingism, is stronger with trading partners and loose borders and economic assistance - even plunder systems. Not to mention, capitalism is generally better than communism, ESPECIALLY to the degree that it's embraced by strong democratic systems as opposed to autocracies, as democratic systems will preserve SOME actual free market for small businesses - but all the big ticket items will be handled by the capitalist oligarchy.
You tell two implicit lies in your question. The first is that there are a myriad of wonderful choices that the former East Bloc nations are shaking their heads to, in a firm "no." The second is that if such were the case, they would have anything more than a pretense of free agency to embrace one of those wonderful opportunities.
You remind me of a petulant child when your silly cartoon roadmap is challenged - you cannot even admit that batteries of nukes targeting every major city is a threat. It's ike arguing with an angry six year old boy.
