I remember loving the fbi. Yeah I knew Hoover was crooked, but they have done some great work in their time despite their progenitor. I considered pursuing a career with them or the federal marshall service. After ruby ridge, Waco, and now targeting people for political persuasions? I believe it needs a complete overhaul if not a cancelation and start from scratch.

I had to work under a licensed PI for 3 years before I could get my PI license...which I completed.


The PI I worked under was a former US Marshall...and an idiot. There's much work to be done to clean out the deadwood.

PI work would be fun but I have already lost most of my faith in humanity. I am sure that vocation would finish the job.

It was fun...some days it was a blast. 99% of the PI work I did was locating people who skipped out and loans. Made a lot of money doing it.

We only need one federal level police force, and that is the venerable Marshal's Service. The FBI is a jonny come lately political organization that began its life in blackmail, extortion and P.R. stunts. It's first director was a cross dressing gay man.

It always had a questionable start. It's paternity linked to an unsavory character. Know first hand they spend untold millions investigating conservatives and their families for speaking up at teachers conferences. Somehow I doubt the Marshall services are similarly exploring these threats. I wouldn't shed a tear if the fbi was abolished.
