@OdeToJoy  , you claim to be a Christian, so I assume you believe the following verse.  I assume you believe the path to eternal life is believing that Jesus is God, and hence, your Lord and Savior.  Is that right?

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
