Don't count the Republican Party out because of what happened to Kevin McCarthy this week. Neither kicking him out of the Speaker's position or contentious Republican debates will weaken the GOP. Why ?
1. Donald Trump has more support among rank and file Republican voters than any candidate.
2. The Republican Right controls most state governments and the Federal judiciary right up to the Supreme Court.
3. President Biden remains deeply unpopular.
The media especially the pundits are constantly claiming the demise of the GOP. That's not the case. Whatever difficulties faced by the Republicans, voters aren't moving towards the Democrats.
