Of course, we all know that Columbus was not the first European to land in the Americas, but his "discovery" DID set into motion the CONTINUOUS exploration and colonization of the two continents.

The real RESCUE of the North American continent, however, did not occur until Mirabeau's ancestors, the English, began to colonize North America, and, in so doing, RESCUED the continent from PRIMITIVE, STONE-AGE SAVAGES, who ate dogs, ate one another, enslaved one another, and DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A WRITTEN LANGUAGE!

THE REDSKINS IN NORTH AMERICA WERE STILL LIVING IN THE STONE AGE AS LATE AS THE 1880s!!!!

The RESCUE of the North American continent by the English and other Europeans is perhaps the greatest event in all of history.  In the space of less than 400 years the Europeans TRANSFORMED a Stone Age society into the most modern, most powerful, and wealthiest nation on earth.
