to this day, ramen does not taste right without spam and green onions
we don’t eat it as often as we used to, but we still love it

experienced the same scenario. us kids could have a pick of the litter when rabbits were bred until harvest time and we had to help clean the meat of our pets. Wasn't so bad since we always got a new pick of the litter to replace the past one.
Teaches a respect for life in natural time is always changing outcomes now. Kind of why rural people respect evolving and urban sprawlers rape the landscape until nothing left to eat except each other.
