Wondrous Kazan. Population 1.3 million. Sits on the bank of the might Volga river about 400 miles east of Moscow.
Its about 50% Christian and 50% Muslim, but mostly they consider themselves Russian. Both religions have
400-500 year old churches here and the communities reside in mutual respect and mingle freely with each other.
They are bonded by the conservatism of both Russia and their respective belief systems.
And per usual in Russia there are massive parks and walking boulevards. Infrastructure for families abound.
