Palestinians Still Communicating Through Paltel...

Israelis have permitted one internet service provider to remain intact in Gaza. The lone provider standing between Palestinians and a total blackout is Paltel, the Palestine Telecommunications Company. While all nine of Gaza’s local internet service providers have stopped working, Paltel is the largest Palestinian provider, with connections in the Gaza Strip and throughout the region.
Currently enough of its broadband and phone service network remains intact for a substantial amount of communications to get outside of Gaza. However, Paltel said it anticipates a total balckout if any more of its underground lines running to Egypt and Israel are damaged. Yes, Israel allows Palestinians to use services established in Israel for communication purposes. They may be re-thinking that.
