72 hours ago, Moscow launched a 24-hour MiG-31 patrol with Kh-47M2 Kinzhal in the Black Sea targeting American aircraft carriers in the Mediterranean.
Russia's 'invisible' weapon in service – Unstoppable by US BMD
The Avangards can achieve a speed of Mach 27, which is 27 times the speed of sound, i.e. 33 000 km. per hour.
They are unstoppable by all current U.S. defense assets as they have the ability to maneuver in flight.
The Sarmat can carry a weapon load of up to 10 tons with 10 heavy or 15 lighter MIRV warheads or 3 Avangard Multisonic Missiles (HGV) or a combination of all of the above.
Moscow recently tested the 9M730 Burevestnik missile. All that remains is the announcement of the Poseidon torpedo, with Russia taking out all modern weapons from its quiver.

How does mach 27 compare to laser's speed of light in 7 bandwidths or 6 types of electrical currents regardless DC or AC? Do they stay on target after an EMP is released or electromagnetic field is generated nullifying Earth's polar magnetic waves in the area? What happen to that two sides to any dispute? Both protecting and defending use same methodology. So which side is right or wrong when the debate is about left and right, or lead and follow, top down or bottom up, inside out or outside in? Example... the French really thought they had a winner with the Chauchat light MG back in the early 1900's but it turned out to be a dog on the battlefield.
History is full of example like this too.

Yes, but they eventually worked the bugs out of that platform... albeit a little too late for some.
The point is, just about every new innovation looks good on paper, and sometimes even good in field tests... but often they will flop when applied to real life situations.
Autonomous automobiles look fantastic on the drawing board for instance.
Weapons systems are no different.

true...
