Exactly. But a desire to exploit the opportunity was already there.

If you dumped a bunch of guns in my living room, my first reaction would not be to use them on my family and neighbors. . . and I don't even like my family and neighbors.

You've yet to explain why it is that you need to go back 40 years to blame a president you clearly hate, when the idiots you so love like Biden, Obama, and Clinton all get to avoid your ire.  Especially when a senile **** like Biden halts our energy independence and forces us to pay BILLIONS to Iran, Russia, and Venezuela for THEIR oil, which is far dirtier and more polluting than our own oil!
