Thank you.Vegas » 05 Nov 2023, 11:32 am » wrote: ↑ Zionism is the culprit of all of Israel's actions. Zionism is a movement, not a belief. The Jews don't have a uniform agreement, except for one thing: To establish a land for Jews in their native homeland of Palestine. In 1948, they got it. It's now Israel. The land was awkwardly divided. They want all of the land, not just a fair share. All of it. Since 1948 to the present, they were able to take almost 75% of it. Either through violence or manipulation. Israel drew first blood. They were and still are able to get away with this because they have a friend in a high place, USA. We help them.

If detail insignificant, what does it matter?Vegas » 05 Nov 2023, 9:51 am » wrote: ↑ Obviously Shapiro takes the conflict in Israel personally given that he is a Jew. Two points that he conveniently left out:
1. Israel controls 80% of Palestine's water supply. The other 20% is polluted ****. You cannot say that a territory is under control of a group of people when their water supply is not under the control of the same people. They gave them Gaza, and in return, they controlled what their life depends on.
@Neo this is one example, out of many, what I have been saying. You only see "Israel gave up something for them." Then turn around and think Israel is so generous. These agreements are full of these stupid disgusting tactics.
2. Yes, Hamas is committing war crimes by using their civilians as shields. We already know that. How does that free Israel from guilt? Al Queda and the Taliban did the same ****. They also used civilians as shields. However, we sent in troops and snipers to pluck them off. We didn't bomb the whole village.
Here is a view that Shapiro conveniently left out: Just because it is legal to bomb them, doesn't make it morally right. Israel has the resources to do what we did. They choose not to.

Do you have info about Israeli’s first violent actions?
It was sarcasm.
I see. Thanks for the education.Vegas » 05 Nov 2023, 12:27 pm » wrote: ↑ This is where it is complicated, in my opinion. It's not about who fired first, it's about who occupied first. Goes back to the Zionism. As soon as Israel was granted their status as an independent state, the war began. The Arabs knew that Israel had no desire to stop at the land given to them. They were going to encroach. So who fired first? Well, the Arab guerrillas. But were they justified? I say yes. They were right. Israel took almost 75% of their land, just as they predicted they would and everyone stood by.
That's why I don't give any credence to people when they say "Israel is just defending themselves." If they would stop encroaching and illegally taking their land, then maybe they wouldn't get attacked so much.

Being dependent on Israel for water and electricity are practical reasons not to **** in their own beds. They should have spent some of their terrorist billions on water desalination plants. A point of interest:
I read that Jews paid half the property taxes in Palestine in 1946.
I don't know if that is true but kind of smacks in the face that it was all Arab land.
