I just find it rather humorous when the "fix" ends up making things worse than they were before they decided to "fix" it in the first place.

Sounds like something you experienced wishing everyone else acquired it same as you have. Misery loves company so deniers demand human rights to make everyone else wish life wasn't self evident by rule of law corrupting the natural way evolving happens in plain sight.
