There is a real conflict of interest.  I read an article by a Doctor who was fired for telling a terminal cancer patient to go home and spend the remaining time with her family, because there wasn't any hope.  The head of the cancer unit told her that they had just finished building a state-of-the-art chemo unit, and they needed warm bodies in the chairs.

A doctor is just a foot soldier. While his attempt to nickel-and-dime you is reprehensible, he is, at best, number 5 in line of "who to blame."

And believe it or not, there ARE cures for cancer. You (as in "you" in general public) are simply not allowed to know about them.

So, let's see if I understand your logic ... A Doctor will tell you to eat right and exercise ... but you don't do that ... so it is the health care system's fault...

Own a commercial truck? 85% of Owner Ops. don't make it a full year. My fuel buddy is just about a year into owning his own truck. After cashing out his 401k and a second on the double wide and the hazard of buying a million mile rig, it's been a very rough year. I hope he makes it.

Well hell, I thought we were all participating in the same capitalist economic system. Granted it doesn't really work for probably 90% of the population but it is there for the taking. Some of us wage slaves used those wages for seed money to invest in the markets and open a couple of businesses(while working full time jobs). There are 128 hours left in the week after the 40 hour J.O.B.,what a person decides to do with that time is on them. Not exactly Titans of Business but still added several hundred thousand dollars to our bottom line. Business owners and their investors are always pitted against the working class, someone who pays attention works both sides to succeed. Many people never figure that out or more importantly, have any LUCK whatsoever.

As luck would have it, a Family Limited Partnership landed in my lap from Mom. It checks the box for the best part of capitalism, sitting on your *** and collecting a check while others do the work. The crops get planted and harvested, the oil guys maintain the natural gas well and 2.5 oil wells, Enel maintains the wind turbines and transmission lines. All that is required of me is a few signatures and filing a few papers with the State of Kansas. No news yet on the possible 140 acre solar farm.

So, I guess I'll keep the Capitalist label for now. If the solar deal goes through I might get embarrassed enough, I'll change it to LUCKY ****!

Strange place for this post, oh well.

Sure, healthcare sucks, unless your spouse spends 30+ years as a Medical Professional. She killed it!!!

Sounds like a false sense of security coming out of programmed hope, faith, charity a tomorrow actually happens each rotation of the planet.. People basing life off relative time logistics never have a complete picture of time while occupying space now.

at 94, i do not use a doctor. waist of expensive gas. i have a relative who was a medic in the military. when he stops by, he answers all my medical questions. cost ZERO
