Interest rates are around 5.5% and the FED is keeping it there, signaling that they are still concerned about inflation.
The 30 year fixed rate for home is climbing to 8% causing the Housing market to stall ... until the interest rates drop or a lot more houses are built that will not change.
Americans are still trying to recover from the 2021 & 2022 inflation that just crushed the American Worker. Biden telling us we never had is so good ... as Americans see they income being eating up by current inflation ... just isn't ringing true.
American are being more careful with their spending and the economy is on the edge.

in the book lord of the flies, one of the characters was named piggy. I think he was the one that ended up getting his skull crushed by those bullying everyone else into submission.

My brain evolves because of genetics, not art vs reality debates. I navigate adapting to space living one of a kind, not a mind obeying maybes cradle to grave.

I am a sole creation of genetic combinations that survived intellectual self destruction so far. I figured out how this species corrupts its own kind each generation every generation since dawn of civilization.

think I summed up history of 7,000 years with no exceptions regardless which reality you want to discuss? Pick a generation gap since inception of ancestral lineages by race, creed, color, national origin, gender preference, economic theory, political leaning, spiritual conviction life exceeds the moment here and/or invention of reality.

I invented Intellectual Armageddon and set it in motion 17 years ago. Bloodless Armageddon. Person only has to change their mind from believing now isn't eternity to accepting it always was and forgive themselves, their ancestry for all the confusion created within their own ancestral lineages.
