No, I did not, kind of groggy this morning and have to be going back to what I was supposed to be doing.

Note that the source code did not evolve, one mistake-mutation and the program will stop working.

Yeah, at first when I read his responses (this was back when I was like...17) I couldn't understand why he kept bringing up those "prestigious" sources.

Then it dawned on me that the VAST majority of people are incapable of formulating an opinion without consulting "reliable" sources - sources that just happen to cater to their whims and confirmation biases while keeping the veil of authority.

So if you craft an argument on your own and it is well substantiated, then they have no choice but to engage you on YOUR terms, and instead of being humiliated they'll wriggle their way out using all sorts of fallacies and hope you don't notice (I always do)

(I saw this with FOS and LibDave, as LibDave was one of the more modestly intelligent people but still lost badly since he relied upon aphorisms that his Libertarian propaganda masters regurgitated while FOS kept using all sorts of unpredictable tactics that were all independently researched)

If he doesn't, I do. Especially compounding rule of 72 didn't originate from economic theories. It was applied into it figuring out how life evolves ancestrally here. Hindsight to how human population became what it is currently here.
