Hear out my position on this. Is there an argument to be made that the process of getting rich in the private sector also benefits society? Is the need to rely on the government to benefit our lives a failed model due to the short comings of socialism? Many would say that the high taxes in blue states are a hamper to the economy and provide little utility. So should we lower taxes or try to more adequately fund vital programs like Social Security?

I would be a hard-core libertarian except for one thing.  Drugs.  I am for banning all recreational drugs and the swift extermination of drug dealers. Libertarians are mostly addicts who would like to be Republicans.....but, can't get off the dope.

Hey, I admit where I'm inconsistent - I pointed it out myself.  I've got my reasons.  And, they are good reasons.  DAMN GOOD REASONS.  Reasons you could not refute.

Principles are not refuted by the disasters that invariably accompany them, any more than a lack of principles is refuted by the disasters THAT leads to.

Disaster is the **** nature of the planet - your control-freaking will not change that. Life is **** brutal, and at the end of it, you get to taste death. Being a control freak will not change that.

And I will tell you something else. If you want the pusher out of the equation, then legalize, tax and regulate. Booze is extremely dangerous and takes many lives - but it was taking a **** of a lot MORE lives under the prohibition that you defend.

Technically, principals lead because they are persons in charge of those doing the jobs socially required. Principles are guidelines, Principals enforce on those doing the sacrificing of biological time to make reality happen factually and ancestrally leaving the principals with power, wealth, fame, diplomatic immunity foreign and domestic. .
