In 1939, not long after Hitler invaded Poland, Hitler was giving a speech to Germany about the upcoming war. After the speech, he was scheduled to fly out. However, the weather wouldn't allow it, so he had to take a train. This caused Hitler to leave his speech early. 13 minutes after he left a bomb went off right behind where Hitler was standing. He would have been blown to hell. A German officer attempted to assassinate him.
This is a serious "what if." Hitler was spared because of bad weather.

Yep. It made for great propaganda in his favor.
It's amazing to me. Bad weather. That's it. It was bad weather that saved Hitler's life. Thereby leading to the deaths of 75 million people.
