The final alcohol percentage landed around 33% best I can tell... 66 proof.

I haven't had a sip yet, but all indications are pointing towards success! The base infusion was a bright clear yellow, and it clouded right up like it was supposed to when mixed with the sugar/water cut.

Everything I'm reading says to let it "rest" in the fridge or freezer for up to month to mellow before consuming so... it will get sampled around Christmas.

Should be interesting!

I don't drink anymore but if I did...I'd have to pass on that.
.
MAYBE MIXED WITH A EXPESIVE HALF OF BOTTLE OF VOKA AND A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE.

All it is is the peels from 8 lemons soaked in a pint of 190 proof grain for a month, then filtered and  mixed with a 2 to 1 ratio of water and sugar added to bring it up to a liter.

Only three ingredients... four if you count the water.

Natural lemon extract, alcohol, and sugar... and yes, I do plan on mixing this with a little prosecco come the Spring.   :D
