While searching this subject, I came across this older article which argues that Israel is not, at least was not in 2014, but the gap between them and a true apartheid state (South Africa) is lessening.

Any comments?

I wouldn't care if it was.  But, you can't be an Apartheid state where you have Christian, Black and Muslim citizens who all get to vote.  Of course, every Arab and Persian country definitely employ apartheid laws.

Muslims, like democrats, accuse others of what they are doing themselves. I am constantly amazed at how the western left has elevated them to an oppressed status. Being elevated to oppressed is the highest form of virtue in their world view and they bestow it on Islam. The same Islam that oppresses women, kills homosexuals, rips the clits out of little girls with a spoon. The only progressive notion found in the Koran is livestock ****.

I guess this would depend on what you consider an Apartheid state to be. 
There are about 250,000 "Palestinians" living in Israel, who are full citizens and can vote.
Not sure how that can be categorized as "Apartheid"...

Have they walled themselves off from Gaza and the West Bank?  Yes.  And clearly Oct 7 shows that this is for good reason.
There are terrorists on the other side of that fence.

Victimhood should never be a virtue. I feel sorry for victims, haven't enjoyed being one the few times it's happened to me. The left makes it a competition and brings in ancient crimes committed by long dead people as exercises in virtue signaling. Celebrating victimhood and reveling in vicarious outrage is a joy sucking cancer.
