I love this time of year.  Fall fades into the holiday season.  Snow, snowboarding, lights, church steeples, great food, warming up inside, a little snort.  God, I love Christmas.

Last year, I got a miniature tire compressor.  Digital.  Measures the air in your tires and then fills it .5 lbs over your setting.  Beats finding an air hose in the cold and rain.

I bought one of those on ebay. It wasn't digital tho. All the men sat around saying it didn't work. lol
When they left -I stuck it in a corner... dug it out the next year and it worked fine.
I think they didn't have the switch turned on the right way. It sure comes in handy. Those switches with the minus- and the 0? always blow my mind. it's a woman thing.

The way Christmas is celebrated is pagan and has zero to do with Jesus Christ. Actually it shouldn’t be celebrated at all.

If should be renamed, “ merry give me stuff mas”.

My parents bought me a Magnus Organ at 5. an instrument - not a dik!
It had legs.. and a seat. I was cool- like an adult. My eyes bugged out... It was play by number. The first song I learned was Silent night. 5!
I made a mistake and said FCK!
And my dad gave me a slap beside the head... don't you use language like that young lady...

That can be hard to remember.  I think of it as zero in the off position because nothing is happening (zero = nothing).  The l is on.  I think of it as turning a dial where zero is in the 12 o'clock position.  You turn to the right to get one and turn on the machine.

it's a digital thing!  "1' means it's energized and "0" means it is null, off.

On.  that's what I was talking about also.  The switch is a carry over from the digital world.  It's either true or false.
I,energized is true;O, Off is false.
Binary talkA bit (binary digit) is the smallest unit of data that a computer can process and store. A bit is always in one of two physical states, similar to an on/off light switch. The state is represented by a single binary value, usually a 0 or 1. However, the state might also be represented by yes/no, on/off or true/false.
