If you want to understand what will be happening in America in a few years where energy policy is concerned, all you need to do is watch what is happening in Germany in real time. The Biden energy policies are essentially carbon copies of actions the German government has already taken, and if Joe Biden or any other Democrat (we see you, Gavin Newsom) wins the presidency in 2024, America’s German-copying path to near-zero energy security will be essentially set in stone.Because of this reality, all Americans should be greatly troubled by a story published Tuesday at Euractiv.com headlined, “EV chargers, heat pumps may be curtailed in Germany as of 2024.” With its power grid running woefully bare of reliable baseload generation provided by coal, natural gas or nuclear power amid its efforts to force adoption of grid-draining electric vehicles and heat pumps onto the population, Germany’s government faces a choice:Either
  1. mount a national effort to rapidly build up baseload on the grid, or
  2. invoke authoritarian measures exerting government control over the little peoples’ usage of EVs and their fancy new noisy and inefficient heat pumps.
No doubt most readers here can easily guess which action government officials have chosen to pursue. I mean, this is Germany we’re talking about here, right? You damn right. Here’s an excerpt from the story:
Germany’s residential grid operators will be empowered to restrict the flow of power to heat pumps and electric vehicle (EV) chargers from 2024 in order to preserve the stability of the grid, which is suffering from chronic underinvestment.Across Europe, investments into grids are lagging behind what’s needed as the continent embraces heat pumps and electric vehicles. “Waiting time for permits for grid reinforcements are between 4-10 years, and 8-10 years for high voltages,” the European Commission said on Tuesday (28 November) as it unveiled a new Action Plan to accelerate the deployment of electricity grids.“Grids need to be an enabler, not a bottleneck in the clean energy transition,” said Kadri Simson, the EU’s energy commissioner. In Germany, the network regulator, the Bundesnetzagentur, is now taking steps to throttle the electricity delivered to EVs and heat pumps to alleviate pressure on the grid. “We are taking precautions today to ensure that heat pumps and charging facilities for electric cars can be connected quickly and operated safely,” said Klaus Müller, president of the federal grid agency on Monday (27 November). Müller is walking a tightrope: keeping the lights on while integrating 500,000 new heat pumps every year and 15 million EVs by 2030. But he also has new powers to do this, thanks to a recent ruling by the EU court of justice which boosted its independance.Going forward, the country’s 880 local grid operators won’t be able to block new heat pumps or wall-chargers for EVs in their service areas. In exchange, they get to throttle the devices when power demand threatens “acute damage or overloading of the network”.

Make no mistake about this: The Biden apparatchiks are well along the process of actively forcing a very similar crisis of electric grid inadequacy in the United States. The Biden regime is pursuing the exact same policies of forcing retirement of reliable coal, natural gas, and nuclear baseload at the same time it is trying to force the mass adoption of EVs and heat pumps. They recently went so far as having their pretend POTUS issue an order invoking the Defense Production Act to funnel $160 million to heat pump manufacturers to speed up the draining of the grid.Even with the flat-lining demand for EVs happening in the U.S., grid managers across the country have spent the last two months warning the public about the rising instability on their regional power grids, as new demand threatens to overwhelm available generation resources. The U.S. situation is not quite as dire as in Germany just yet, but definitely will become so in 2-3 years absent a fairly radical change in policy direction. We must remember that producing this outcome is a feature of the Biden plan, not a glitch. This is all very intentional. Writing all this destruction off to mere incompetence and stupidity gives these intentionally destructive people far too much credit.Americans like to get a chuckle out of stories like this one coming out of Germany, the UK, and other countries that seem so improbable to ever happen anywhere in America outside of California. What we need to all realize, though, is that the Biden policy regime has the U.S. well down the same road, though still a few years behind. So, laugh at Germany’s government for now if you like, but know you will be suffering the same fate if the 2024 elections fail to produce real change. That is all.

Have you purchased your carbon blocks? A compressed mass of wood bark and sawdust that supposedly captures carbon sprayed with something that seals it in and then is buried in the ground. A start-up company claims they will then monitor the process for sustainability.......American Airlines is one of their biggest initial victims of woke *******.

Smells like Margaret has finally made a break out scam that produces an income.
