Wants me to fix his transmission for him, but I declined. We aren't friends, the only time spoke to me was to say he didn't have time to shake hands with me 8 years ago. He won't find anyone in this town who can fix it, other than getting a dealer reman and sometimes those are bad. Besides after 40 years of that stuff I don't wanna do anymore. Hell I'd have to go all the way to fort Worth for parts and it's not worth it. He don't wanna pay what it's worth either. So looks like he will roll the dice with the wrecking yards.

If my car was to need a new transmission.. I would just sell it for parts or junk it. While I can do electrical and small stuff like alternator, starter, spark plugs, battery, fuel pump, etc.. I am in no way equipped to do quality work on a transmission.
