              I don't believe Hamas in their worst Goat-Humping dreams thought Israel and the IDF would retaliate on this level.... Their strategy seemed to be to that once they withdrew back into Gaza after the October 7th attack, the hostages they took would be an insurance policy from a full on Military response from the Israelis ---- Hamas also seemed to be counting on far more participation & support from Hezbollah in Lebanon , whose actions up to now has been little more than token ---- They were also expecting a lifeline resulting from Israel bending to the usual guilt-tripping , browbeating and condemnations from the EU, UN, and street mobs ...

             Looks like they were gravely mistaken on all accounts...

What really cracks me up in all of this is...Iran is always threating Israel !

I was talking to a old man the other day that was in the Air Force.  He told me back in the 60s they had 13 NUKE planes in MA that were ready to take off in 15 minutes...24 / 7.  And that was just one site they also had 4 in the air plus 1.   For those to stupid...the plus 1 would go where ever directed and the other 4 would stay in thier grids.

I doubt if the USA would NUKE Iran but they would switch to the next bomb down and hit them like Joe Frazier.

First wave: Command sites, como's, air defense sites, airfields, potable water, bridges, military bases, eclectic grid.  At least 75% of the planes would get thru thier air defense today.

Than they would unleash the stealth bombers...who would bomb at will all over the place than the big boys' bombers.  They would be hit'g them from the sea also.  This basically is the battle plan Israel is now using on the sand ******.

Maybe after a few months of this the USA would send the foot soldiers in for a mop up...supported by AC-47s and A-10s.   A-10s (Speed: 420 miles per hour-which is super quick for that type of aircraft)  They can turn on a dime...for close to the ground air support.  I seen them in Korea and you could almost reach up and touch them.

  Iran has always been brave with other countries fighters when it comes to Israel ---- but not so much when it's their own troops... 

         Suwon AB Korea where I was stationed was an A-10 Base 85-87.... Best close ground support Aircraft in the history of military aviation...  Also very difficult to shoot down, as it could hobble back home one 1 engine...  The Base would organize trips to Kooni Bomb Range where our Pilots would practice their bombing & strafing runs... They'd haul out old Truck and Armoured Vehicles for them to hit..... Never got tired of watching that Avenger Gatling shred them to glowing & sparking pieces... 

          Here's a pair of A-10s clearing a treeline of Taliban.... Our guys on the ground were enjoying the show...

I had orders for Pusan (the Mami of Korea) My Captain I worked with went to MILPERCEN with me and got me the orders.  I made the mistake of not going there on my own dime. 

I got to 2nd ID replacement, and they had us in formation.  So I yelled out SGT...SP4 Mack request permission to brake formation and talk with the Sgt regarding my orders. HE SAID COME FORWARD. I go up to him and tell him I have orders for Puson.  He said let me see them.  I give them to him and he reads and says you do have orders for Puson.  He tore them up and said NOT ANYMORE !  SP4 Mack return to your file.  I said YES SGT because it would be a waste of time to try and get sent there.

Those JOs sent me to a UN Command Group MP company. (didn't get to wear a Indian Head)  Luckily, I was kicked out of it for punching a KATUSA Sgt Major while drunk.  They sent me back to Replacement on restriction and the (cool LSD using) MP I was with got a Article 15.

Another cool MP story.  When I was in MDW / Washington, DC a MP stoped me at the back gate strait armed and yelled hault. and approached my VECH real strack.  I'm thinking WTF is going on ?  So he gets to door and leans on it and says (really smile'n) what happening.

I asked him why did you stop me and he said I'm borded so I figured I would F with you just for something to do. (usually they just wave you thru)  So me and him became talking buddies.  It was like that secne (?) in the Cheech and Chong movie (Up in smoke) when the cops stopped because their car made out of weed was smoking.  He comes over and takes a big whiff.

There was a hot dog on the dashboard and the copper said hey can I have bite and Chong says sure have whole thing.

When they ride away and look in the mirror the copper was in the middle of the intersection given everyone the peace symbol.

    I was stationed at Suwon Air Force Base, 25th Fighter Squadron.... It was an A-10 Base down the road from our much bigger Osan Air Base... Suwon was considered a Satellite Base, just a few hundred of us there... We only had a tiny Ville outside the base, so we'd go to Osan to hit the town... I lived off base and was loving life... My buddy & I rented a house, and were making some good cash on the Black Market selling American Booze and Cigarettes to the local Gooks that we'd get from the BX at Osan.. Our house was a revolving door of drunken Airmen -- Cash -- Contraband - and Gook Go-Go Girls... 

   Lots of good times & stories from nights we'd get oiled up on the Soju.... Probably the most notable involved Colonel Sanders.... Some buddies & I at Suwon had heard they were opening a Kentucky  Fried Chicken Franchise in Osan City... This was a huge deal to us because at the time there were no American fast food restaurants from back home.. So we went there for the grand opening... There was a life-sized plastic Colonel Sanders  which lit up outside the front door to greet the customers... Everybody posed for pictures with him...

    From there we proceed to do the usual run through the Bars & Clubs... At the end of the night when we went to the Bus station to catch a ride back to Suwon, we had to walk by that KFC ----The Colonel was still out front as the restaurant was closing... Apparently we grabbed the Colonel and took him on the Bus with us back to Suwon.. I just remember the next morning waking up with the usual assortment of passed out drunk buddies strewn about the floor... I went out on the porch to grab a smoke --- and there stood Colonel Sanders... He had a Gas Mask on his head, and an empty Soju bottle tied to his hand.. We kept him for a couple days to Party, then my roommate Ron and I put him in a Taxi with our Yobos (Korean Girlfriends) who took him back to Osan..
