OK...I know where that is at...in fact I had a b&H friend who was stationed there while in the Air Force.

My Squad Leader (who we called Woodstock a hippie stuck in the army) was married to a Korean and he would take any assignment in Korea he could. They banked like a gazzion $$$ and hid it somehow. He could speak perfect Korean and Vietnamese. I remember one time he gave a KATUSAs a order and the guy acted like he didn't understand. He was listening to what they were saying and they didn't know he could speak Korean.
Finally he gave the KASTUA the same order in Korean and the guy stood and acted like he didn't understand. Then he said in English...don't stand there and look stupid...you know what I just said and if you do not move RIGHT now you will be on report. (very bad for the KATUSAs - as they can be sent to the ROK Army) He ran and did what he was told.
Woodstock's was INTEL in Vietnam and he told me he went on one combat mission just to feel it. They went up the river and went into Cambodia the day after Nixon said we are not in there.
Most guys don't like talking about Vietnam but I have met a few that did. When I was a SQ runner this guy told me msome crazy stories. He told a under cover VC killed one of thier buddies. I forget how they knew it was her. Anyhow they hunted her down and stuck a flair gun in her Vagina and blast her. That must have been some site. He told they tied what was left her to a tree and put a sign on her. Eat at Joes or something like that.
I had a friend who killed a kid for real. The guy had a SKS and my friend had the drop on him and fired him up. He **** laugh and said I am here he is not and downed a glass of beer. I know it was true because he was drunk as a Hessian on Christmas night.
ultraliberals are not happy unless they are obsessing about something.
