Is the low numbers due to a generational switch? Do the young just no longer believe in the country? From what I hear even the "Rock" Dwane Johnson was summoned to Washington to combat the problem and there is even a scheme to offer citizenship to illegals if they join the military.

Probably a good thing. There has been an increase in homos and trannies in the upcoming generation. Do you really feel safe knowing that they would be the ones protecting us?

the idea of having illegals join isn't a bad idea as long as they qualify for serving. I don't think the physical standards have ever been lower than they are now. As of Dec 1, 2023, the average monthly pay for a Military Soldier in the United States is $2,126 a month.
While ZipRecruiter is seeing monthly salaries as high as $2,583 and as low as $1,625, the majority of Military Soldier salaries currently range between $1,791 (25th percentile) to $2,500 (75th percentile) across the United States.
