Don't know if they were illegals but the military has offered quick citizenship to non citizens for many years,. They did it when I went in and that was 40 years ago.

You guys are paid to go into high schools - stop me when I lie - and form relationships with people too young to legally contract with the agencies you represent. Our CO discussed what he called the SLACK EFFECT. That meant if other countries were down, then you would be down. It wasn't meant to be lax, but rather a rechannel of resources. So you take advantage of slower recruiting in your "enemy" countries by diverting resources to another aspect. Might be tech. Might be specific weapons systems.
I know that many countries around the world also have declining recruitment. Look at countries with nukes, which is your most important intelligence. The UK, France, and China are down. Japan (no, nukes of course, but strong nonetheless) has been down since 2014. Russia and Ukraine have nukes, but are anomalies right now.
btw Some of the garbage you see on television is not what is happening day to day. The media likes to pretend the military is "tolerant" and "open" and all this garbage. Day to day is often a different story.

I figured it out 40 years ago and nobody has ever brought it out to public knowledge in any major media or medium to the flow of public information. Everyone centers every ideology around now isn't eternity while genetics eternally separates each reproduction alive now. Took me 23 years to figure out how to defend my time differently from everyone standing their ground for what they believe life should be tomorrow.

Your impressions appear to be from tv or anecdotes. I spent my time on interested candidates. Guys whose family members were already mil. Mostly, it was which branch is better, the pay, how to study for the asvab, and, mostly importantly, the jobs.
