Just wait until the reparations kick in!
Funny thing about Cali's population issue. I strongly suspect there is a metric being ignored.RedheadedStranger » 09 Dec 2023, 12:28 pm » wrote: ↑ What's so funny is, this is only going to get worse as more and more people leave Cali and take their tax dollars with them.
New York is on the verge of the same fate.
The actual budget was $300 Billion plus... The $68 billion is just the projected shortfall for next year, with another $150 billion short by 2027 on top of that if they don't make some major adjustments and soon.Cannonpointer » 09 Dec 2023, 12:28 pm » wrote: ↑ That comes to close to 2k for every resident of that state.
Shouldn't that BE the budget, FFS?mg:
Yep... because errbody knows that a brownie is only worth 3/5ths of a white man any day of the week.Cannonpointer » 09 Dec 2023, 12:33 pm » wrote: ↑ Funny thing about Cali's population issue. I strongly suspect there is a metric being ignored.
Every year, they look at how many people are in the state, and then they talk about net gains or losses of population. That is a sorry *** metric, right there - pretty meaningless, really.
See, if a million white anglo saxon, law abiding, productive citizens leave; and a million brown-it-downers come beaning in to cholo it up, then the numbers look like there is no change. But the change has been extraordinary and terribly damaging to the future of the state.
I think the demographics are a whole **** of a lot worse than the top line numbers let on.

That certainly won't help Gavin's political aspirations all that much, or at least it shouldn't. Between the IQ of the electorate and the manipulation of the election system, Newsom could still win the WH in a landslide just the same.
