In this figure there are 5 parallel vertical axises to center axis and one horizontal plan showing 5 generation numbers since point of inception humans occupying time in this atmosphere specifically as theya re behaving currently alive.
pink and blue surfaces are original 16 great great grandparents. second generation after inception are the peaks created on the 4 parallel vertical axises to center. 3rd generation are the 4 corners to the horizontal plane where there are 40 inside angles from center mass two parents deliver each great great grandchild of the 5 generation gap family tree. Now all the open spaces are physically filled by siblings of each generation that didn't become 1 of 2 parents and they become extinct without any great great grandchildren living beyond their time alive. Really is thermodynamically sound.

Are you happily married? Kids? If so, and if I were the Devil, I would grant you your wish and wouldn't even require your soul as payment.
If you are happy, it is best to be thankful for this and NOT to mess with time travel. Because, the likelihood of making things any better for yourself is ZERO. Now, if you are not happy with the way your life turned out, then.......TAKE THE TIME-TRAVEL DEAL.

Its the Devil. He already knows the outcome if you take his deal. If you are happy, be grateful for what you've got and don't look back. Because, if you take the deal, you may be spending every moment of those 30 years agonizing for something you already had. Even if you are not happy with your life and create a better life, you will be sad for what you lose and live out your remaining days agonizing for something you had, but lost.
