It appears the repubs WILL NOT pay another penny - not even to their lords and masters - until that border is seen to. 

I feel like I woke up in Altmerica, where republicans are actually MEANING it when they say enough is enough.

He knew the game would end - he's got more money than he will ever need. He will be protected. He's just trying to keep the game going - and of course, he is surprised, because he KNOWS that joe has skin in the game. He knows they WANT to keep it going. 

He's probably as confused as I am by the republican party's sudden intransigence. I have never seen anything like it. MAYBE Gingrich - he could play hardball. He would stop the presses to get his agenda met. That boy bargained like an ayrab. But I never considered the border to be a hill the repukes were willing to die on. It has always been lip service, except for the MAGA crowd. And the MAGA crowd doesn't have the NUMBERS to stop zelensky and nutsinyouhoo from sticking their straw in the treasury. This is the PARTY. 

Can YOU suggest any narrative that explains this ****?

I usually  think that everything we see is scripted theater...even from the GOP.
But it seems like what we have here is an honest to goodness rebellion.
But until I see US Military posted from sea to shining sea at the southern border......

I can only guess that they are shocked at how all their schemes and games
have failed vs Russia.  They DO NOT want to see Abrams and F16s
burning all over E. Ukraine.  Bad for bidness. Best to cut losses now.
Blame Zelle for the loss. Save him, but "under bus" him.

Yeah - it LOOKS like that. But in my occurring world - in the world as I understand it - it CAN'T be that. 

In the world as I understand it, Lindsey Graham doesn't stand up for America. Sorry - that just does not happen. Mitch McConnell doesn't tell Bibi Netanyahu he's gonna have to wait.

It's a political ploy because the pubs don't have the votes in Congress.
