Hopefully you understand the inflation numbers are "year over year". What liberals are touting is really this; "Look, the annual inflation rate is down. I know we let prices increase at the highest rate in a generation last year...but forget that, they aren't going up that fast now. They are still going up, but only at a higher than acceptable rate."
Is that really something to be proud of? Asking for a friend.

inflation as measured by the CPI and PCE has seen slowing growth in the past 4 months. As for actual price deflation.. this is not what a society wants. Also, CPI on a month to month never saw declines during the trump admin. So guess what? We had inflation during his time.
