The SCOTUS chose not to intervene with State business.

Now Illinois has to put a stronger penalty for guns purchased from another state.

The point is... the SCOTUS didn't ban anything. Illinois did. 

SCOTUS just said that they don't have a dog in the fight at this time.

Sorry guy the Supreme Court could of said the second amendment say you can own semiautomatic guns. But they said that it could be banned in any state that wants to ban them.

Yep they can be arrested in blue states for having a semiautomatic weapon.  Which isn't what the Supreme Court let be banned.

Just to he clear the Supreme Court let them be banned in blue states which isn't the Supreme Court banning semiautomatic weapon even if they let that happen.
