Nope.  Not at all.  Keep up with the conversation.  Or present your case.  We were discussing wether or not the Illinois law bans all semiautomatic automatic weapons.

I have shown it does not.  If you have something to add bring it on.

So there IS such a thing....

In the context of the gun control debate there really it isn't.  It became popular around 30 years ago because they could not really call them military style assault rifles.  SO they came up with a sexy name that would captivate and grab the attention of you gunophobes.

The court's action on Thursday, leaving the Illinois law in place, is not a decision on the merits of the case; as of now, there have been no conflicting decisions by lower appeals courts, and the justices may well have felt there was no need to intervene without such a conflict.

Effeminately raised Twerps like you are incapable of defending yourself and your loved ones from an armed attacker anyway...so naturally this ban will make you feel less afraid to venture out into that great, big terrifying world that you are ill equipped to negotiate on your own terms.

In every context, Squiggly.

It was an assault weapon long before.

Cool.  Not a point of discussion but if you say so.

But the truth of the matter is I am correct.  It coined in the 80s which is not long before I said it became popular.

Do some research.  Go argue with Congress on how long the term has been around.

But on point the Illinois law does not ban all semi automatics.

Mic Drop….

That’s nice.  The House site is lying.  I am sure you have a link.

Now, back to the topic….:
