I find it hilarious the right wing thinks they can forget that Trump was already arming the Ukrainian army before the invasion of Ukraine when Obama wouldn't give them lethal aid before hand.

I remember the right wing that now is blaming Biden for supplying Ukraine were all on border attack Obama for not giving any lethal aid to ukraine and Trump was alfa for giving and arming Ukraine in 2019.

I'm going to look and see exactly what Trump was saying at the time and I bet it's the exact opposite of what the right wing is saying today.

Yeah old trump attacked Obama for not giving lethal aid.

And Trump knew of Ukrainian plans to attack and retake Crimea at the time. So you can say Trump was aid Ukraine to attack Russian territory.

Ted Cruz wrongly says Ukraine gave up nukes due to American security guarantees

CNN took its cue from the NCAA basketball championships to air an election special called "The Final Five," or five interviews with the remaining presidential candidates. During his conversation with Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, CNN host Wolf Blitzer raised the issue of NATO.

Blitzer asked Cruz what he thought about Donald Trump’s demand that the European members pay more for their common defense. Blitzer mentioned Trump’s point about Ukraine, saying Germany has more of an interest there than the United States.

"Well, Donald, in all likelihood, has no awareness of this, but with regard to Ukraine, the United States has deep involvement," Cruz replied during the March 21, 2016, interview. "Ukraine used to be the third-largest nuclear country on the face of the Earth. Ukraine voluntarily gave up its nuclear weapons because the United States of America came in and said if you hand over those nuclear weapons, we will ensure your territorial integrity from Russia. We made a commitment, and then the Obama administration has broken its word."

There are a couple of elements in Cruz’s statement. While he described the weapons as belonging to Ukraine, when the Soviet Union dissolved, the Russians still controlled them and Ukraine’s generals were unable to launch them. It would be more accurate to say that the warheads were on Ukrainian soil.

Matt Gaetz misleads about Obama's record on Ukraine military aid

U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., has become one of President Donald Trump’s key attack dogs as he pushes back against the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry through protests, regular Fox News appearances and on Twitter.

As part of his defense of Trump, the second-term north Florida congressman has pointed the finger at former President Barack Obama’s actions related to Ukraine.

"Barack Obama put a permanent stop on this military aid to the Ukraine - he never allowed it to go," Gaetz tweeted Oct. 21. "You’re telling me Democrats are trying to impeach President Trump for delivering aid that Obama didn’t deliver? That’s ludicrous." Gaetz made similar remarks in a Fox News interview with Jeanine Pirro.
