NATO was established to prevent the Soviets from invading Germany after WW II. There hasn't been any Soviets since 1991. So what is its purpose?

Exactly. Let Europe handle their own security. It will be good for the war industrial complex in America. We can sell more weapons to Europe.

No more alliances. We will fight our own wars. If Europe falls to Russian amd Chinese rule so be it we can take them on alone. No more global power for the united states. No more Projecting power across the globe to protect our interest around the globe. You're right Vegas.

Yes, it's dangerous. I don't know the answer. Humanity outnumbers the elitist in NATO by the billions, literally. Yet, we can't stop them. I don't know.

Probably no purpose.  Same thing could be accomplished through treaties.  Sucks to have the US paying the bills, and no real buy in from other NATO countries.  NATO doesn't really have a globalist agenda nearly as much as the EU.
