Florida bill banning Pride flag would make showing support for LGBTQ people a 'political viewpoint'A Florida Republican lawmaker’s bill declares showing support for LGBTQ people is a “political viewpoint,” despite the existence of LGBTQ Democrats, Republicans, independents, and entirely unaffiliated and non-political LGBTQ people.

The goal of GOP State Rep. David Borrero’s legislation is to ban all versions of the LGBTQ pride flag from any and all local government buildings, including schools and universities.

“A governmental entity may not erect or display a flag that represent [sic] a political viewpoint, including, but not limited to, a politically partisan, racial, sexual orientation and gender, or political ideology viewpoint. The governmental entity must remain neutral when representing political viewpoints in displaying or erecting a flag,” HB 901 reads.

The bill makes no mention of religious flags.

This is the second time Rep. Borrero has tried to get LGBTQ pride flags banned from government buildings.

It is a terrorist flag. 

Many groups of marchers have hoisted that flag on the streets of cities they were terrorizing while chanting, "We're here, we're queer, we're coming for your children."

If anyone else threatened people's children under any other flag, that flag would rightly be considered a terrorist symbol (unless they had misappropriated it).

The pride flag should be outlawed. Flying a terrorist flag should be considered "fighting words," and should be a crime.

Duh.  It is a political viewpoint. Because

• It doesn't represent a nation
• it doesn't represent a state
• it doesn't represent a territory
• its not a naval flag
• the flag does not represent any military branch

It clearly, unequivocally, and absolutely represents a political cause.

1.  The flag is not banned.  It is one of many that Government entities can't fly.

2.  Individuals and businesses can fly it.  

3.  You still can show your support by flying it as an individual.

This flag is either political or perverted.  Either way, Florida was right to ban the *** Flag.

Have you even bothered to research why there is a separation between church and state? This is not supposed to be on public land. Would you be okay if churches demanded that a crucifix or some other religious symbol to be displayed a public schools?

are you trying to scoff at this? The LGBT flag absolutely is a political flag. Our own DOD representatives admit themselves that one of their primary goals is to force less developed counties to be more accepting of sexual perversions. The imf includes requirements of tolerance for sexual perversions before they would consider assisting countries struggling economically. One of the primary reasons many Americans think the usa should overthrow putin is because he is not a fan of gay marriage. So yeah...of course it is political.
