“I wish Timothy McVeigh went to the New York Times building instead” ~ Ann Coulter
———————————
The poster child of the JOOish media, the JEW York SLIMES (thank
@nuckin futz for that one!), is pretty much everything you would expect from JOOs:
Disingenuous
Fraudulent
…and of course, expensive
But I’m not here to dissect their lies.
No, siree…how about a more direct
exposé on how they treat customers?

The New York Times FRAUDULENTLY CHARGED my account a year after I had a free-trial. I CANCELLED free-trial on time but, suddenly, a year later, there are ONE YEAR'S WORTH of CHARGES ENTERED ALL AT ONCE. Fortunately, I had the charges reversed BUT now I am getting emails stating I need to update my credit card details. I have responded telling them to lose my email address but I still get these emails. It's like a VIRUS that won't go away.
Do not sign up for a trial subscription or cheap one thinking you can easily cancel. You cannot cancel online, and they deliberately waste your time to make it hard to cancel. It took me over 2h, talking to multiple agents on the phone simply to cancel my subscription. You can sign up online in a heartbeat. It makes no sense and is the pinnacle of @sshole design.
Tried to cancel my subscription for months already, but they make it impossible. I do not want a subscription. I have never wanted a subscription, yet they charge my card every month and there is no way to stop them These people are thieves.
You should never make any subscription with New York Times, if you don't want to pay for ever!! Super easy to start your subscription. But impossible to stop it again, or to find anyone who wants to talk to you, to answer your mail, to help you. They just send you from one corner to other corner until you give up, or close for your credit card. I don't understand how NYT allow such a sick department destroy their reputations.
Quelle surprise!
I thought JOOs were such magnificent people?!
