There is no "tight labor market" except the one created by starvation wages. Workers aren't willing to work for free - what a shocker. Turns out "free-adjacent" is a non-starter, as well. So employers, to get workers, have to give them enough to eat. Bowl me over with a feather, fruitcake. 

Workers made their own luck, in SPITE of the policies you support - not because of them.
