You can't just end fossil fuels. The IRA made investment towards that goal. Bullet trains electric charging areas around the country. He is building the infrastructure to do that. What exactly did he say. Because if he said his goal was to end all fossil fuel use that will take along time to achieve. We all know that. In the Ira bill there was huge investment in alternate energy usage. What he said is that he was going to make us LESS reliant of so-called fossil fuels (they are not from fossils, for **** sake, or they'd be gone by now duh). He has clearly made us MORE reliant on them. Which is fine by me - I'm an oil man. My daddy was an oil man and HIS daddy was an oil man.
