Sure am glad the violent crime rate is down. 

one data point does not invalidate the whole series. We have less fraud in my office today than during the Pandemic. However, one of the worst cases ever just came into being this weekend.

I'm not worried. I carry a gun and will use it. I don't go to **** hole Dem cities. Where I live crime is almost 0. I carry my gun for when I have to travel. F around and find out.

Violent crime in my heavily armed and mostly NEGRO FREE AREA is so rare that I've never witnessed it.
I'll wager the vast majority of those who live in these parts have never witnessed any either.
We have a token quantity of American Indians, some Mexicans, some Hajis, a few Pajeets and assorted Gooks.

My thoroughly middle class neighborhood has very little violent crime. No way of getting exact data but from observation.. its about 35 to 40% hispanic. In 11 years, there has been 0 homicides and 1 armed robbery.

I'd hate to depend on observation to arrive at any conclusions.

And everyone but you knows that there is no way to get exact demographic data for something like who lives in my neighborhood. Hence, the need for observation.. I know, that's too complex for your simple mind.

Getting confused again.. this did not take much. My guess at the percentage that is hispanic has to rely on observation being that there is no hard and fast data. How you manage to get out of bed with such limited cognitive ability is surprising

Seems to me people are starving in Cali. .......if they are looting bakery's .....

I get what you're saying.
Your estimate gives me at least a rough idea and that's good enough for the sake of discussion.
I run into the same situation when I guesstimate the racial breakdown of the Army when I served.
No actual data that I'm aware of...but if I hazard a guess it was 60% White 20% Black 15% Brown 5% Asian or "other".
Nowadays the FBI lumps Brown crime  in with White crime  so that the level of Brown crime is hidden from view and so that White crime looks worse than it really is. 
The FBI also does this to make Black crime rate look less horrible than what it really is when compared to just White crime rate.

I was on a facebook page that is dedicated to the neighborhood and some lady was going on about how the neighborhood was becoming a haven for violent crime. I had a hard time believing this due to almost never seeing police or fire dept. activity. However, was able to dredge up every police report in the city and then use a program.. get an address from it. When I cross referenced it to the street names in the neighborhood.. very few results. So why the low crime? Simple.. middle class neighborhood where most homes are relatively similar to each other and no high income neighborhood nearby. Also, as luck would have it.. most were purchased prior to 2008 when the real estate market here crashed in epic fashion. So lots of long time homeowners and therefore very few rentals. 

Growing up poor, I find that the true indicators of crime are income, education, and nearby wealthy communities. In Boise, the most crime ridden area is on the edge of downtown with very wealthy neighborhoods to the north and east.

          You left out a few more indicators...... 
    Culture, values, teen pregnancy /  out of wedlock birth rates... Not sure what you specifically mean by "education", but since all have the opportunity to public schools that factor should be the School Dropout Rate.. 

   Also, when we talk about income ---- Because of the safety net that many in this country have turned into a viable career path,  few to none these days steal out of hunger or true necessity -- unless Flat Screen TVs, Iphones, Air Jordans and Hair Weaves has some sort of nutritional value I am unaware of.. ...  They steal out of want -- not need...
