cruise ships are required to have life preservers. airlines passengers must be required to have a parachute. before loading. all passengers must have on a certified parachute and when flying over the ocean a parachute, life preserver, flare gun,  helmet, shark repellent, video game and lunch bag.

Stupid.
I can barely tolerate deplaning while sitting at the terminal.
All the slow, fussy, disorganized asswipes clogging the aisle putting on a parachute rig seems like they'd harsh my last few mellow seconds alive.
Please seat yourself.

You ever seen trained folks (non-military) jump out of a plane?  I have.  Takes too long.  Now, what would that look like with women, children, men who are scared to death to jump?  Who's going to hook up their static line?  Hold the pin? Just a big 'ol goat-****.

retrofit all airliners. trap doors under all seats. replace overhead storage with hang gliders.  when airliner has problem, auto pilot opens bomb hatch below seats.  and the people glide safely to earth . simple solution.

never sit in a terminal again! when arriving at an airport, sit in one of their wheel chairs. a porter will see you and wheel you to the front of the line. you will wait in a v.i.p. room. luxury treatment. wheeled onto the aircraft. and stewardess will give you fantastic service.

i got a brain storm. what a great solution for boeing. sell the commercial airliners your bombers. automatically slide the passengers chairs to the bomb doors. and have a robot strap on a parachute.

Named the D.B.Cooper System, I think it would be a winner!

When dumb people make stupid arguments, the two create ignorance to how evolving is self evident.
