Well Iowa is just becoming a red state that leads the nation in violent crime year after year. It's what Republicans support violent crime and death threats is what they do and support. That's why they love Donald J Trump

Iowa's violent crime rate is less than the national rate, which was 380.7 per 100,000 people for 2022, down from 387 in 2021, a 1.7% drop. Murders and non-negligent manslaughter in the U.S. decreased 6.1%, and rape was down 5.4%, according to the report

His argument is that the civilian AR is a "weapon of war" and should be banned because of that.

That's like saying that the Toyota Camry should be banned because it's a high performance racecar that will run 200+ mph...

That's nice but the weapons used in the shooting were are not semi automatic sports weapons.  And before we go further we need to establish you bonafides concerning personal experience concerning semi automatic sports weapons and select fire assault fire.  One being standard military issue and the other not intended to be issued as a select fire assault weapon.

So you are unaware that a semi automatic sports rifle was not used in the Iowa shooting meaning Bidens ideas would not have stopped the shooting.
