I saw Les Stroud [Survivor Man] eat a live scorpion after biting off the stinger.
Afterwards he just stared at the camera and started laughing...saying that he just did that so he could  look like a Bad *** for the TV Audience

Even the newer ALONE series I really like.  Seen those?

I've seen 2 of the Alone Series. 
They are the best I've ever seen.
The $1MM Cash Prize series had that bad *** Alaskan Dude who shot the musk ox with a primitive bow, then he had to expend 20,000 calories transporting it home, then  butchering it and building the bear proof food locker that looked like a miniature log cabin. 
He was the guy who named his partly underground, shelter "Rock House".
What was the net gain after doing all of that for the low fat protein stash of food...?
Well it was just enough for him to claim the prize money.

His was standing by a scenic outlook next to a highway.       
The **** guy is a douche bag actor. Reality shows are anything but...

I bet the guy that posted that shot got in trouble with Superman the Piss-drinker.
