Did you identify with Town Mouse or Country Mouse in Aesop's famous fable?

It has various names.  I knew it at The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse.

I really didn't much of it at the time.  I would bet that many adults would like one of the other based on political persuasion.

"The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence."

That theme is quite common throughout the history of literature.
Much of the time it revolves around appreciating what's right in front of you or (failing that) whether or not you can learn from your mistakes.

I was a town mouse for a short period but now fit in the country mouse motif.
Please seat yourself.
