Public schools named Dunbar. Are they mostly colored?

You aren't, while expecting everyone else to be serious. Creating conflicts where none existed before.

The Dunbar High School in Ft. Worth had (for decades) one of the top boys basketball programs in the state...coached by Robert Hughes Sr...winningest boys high school basketball coach in the US (1.333 wins). I officiated a varsity scrimmage at that school (regular season games played off campus because of the crowd size). There was a sign by the door to the gym; "If it ain't played on wood, it ain't no good".

Most certainly an all black high school. We loved officiating games for Hughes. He never complained about the officiating and would get in the face of any player who did. Now, when he asked about a call you made...his reputation made you question your own call.

Not knowing anything about "Dunbar", I'm going to reply based upon the Anagram of Dunbar - Urban D.  Definitely a negro school.
