The Godfather... or at least my rendition.
The original recipe call for equal parts of your blended Scotch of choice and Amaretto of choice, stirred over ice.
My version is 2 oz of Dewars White Label and a 1/4 oz of Gabriello di Toscana Amaretto with two dashes of Peychaud's bitters stirred gently over ice.
Just enough sweet with hints of cherry, almond, and clove, that still allows the Dewars to shine through.
I made one of these for one of my wife's female friends that stated she "couldn't stand Scotch" back a few months ago, and now every time we're having drinks, this is what she wants.
